  1. If you had to improve ONE thing on your site to rank higher in 2026, what would it be?

    Higher quality content?
    Stronger topical authority?
    Better internal linking?

  2. Hello. New subscriber here. Is there a video on how to actually access a website as a digital marketer? I’m not sure if I’m asking the question well… probably not but I’m a fresh newbie in digital marketing and SEO and I want to know how to get into my website mechanics so I can begin practicing.

    Hope this makes sense.

  3. WOW! I wish you were in the YouTube SERPs when I got into the biz 15+ years ago. Then again, I'd have a lot more competition and the world would be much better informed and we might have higher quality information (or maybe more SEO'd content) in the SERPs. As an SEO who still ranks #1 for key phrases for our area, Matt is explaining all this PERFECTLY. You're saying all the caveats and nuances that should be added to everything we do as we strategize and implement. This is an INCREDIBLE video. I wish you created videos on also how to make a PERFECT educational video. Maybe it's having a budget? Haha. Honestly, this was a GREAT find … I simply was curious what was showing up for the "seo" search in YouTube and here you are. I was thinking it would be more slop, but this is gold.

  4. Great breakdown on the reality of SEO today—especially the point about "Google's assumed search intent" on SERPs with mixed intent. The GetAccept roundup example was a masterclass in using a smart content format as a backdoor entry when competing against massive brand authority like DocuSign. It’s a great reminder that ranking isn't just about matching word count but matching what Google believes the user is trying to solve. Thanks for keeping expectations grounded while providing actionable frameworks!
